Terms and Conditions
Sea Freight
- Any Cargo received at the warehouse for shipment shall be shipped out immediately in the next available loading as per shipping instructions provided by the shipper.
- Cargo received at the warehouse free of storage for 7 days, anything kept beyond the free period will be subject to storage charges as per company storage tariff.
- Storage charges @ AED 4 per CBM / day is applicable from first day after the completion of allotted 7 days free period. Minimum chargeable is 2 CBM
- I am owner of the complete goods shipped, these are meant for personal purpose, and I take full responsibility for any misdeclaration in the packing list.
- Any Cargo not claimed for more than 30 days, or storage charges not paid within 10 days of storage incurred will be disposed of from the warehouse without any liability or responsibility on the part of company (Al Usood Cargo).
- For any unclaimed cargo, Customer / Shipper will be liable to pay Cargo Disposal expenses along with the storage charges incurred till date.
- All fragile items must be wooden crated for maximum safety. I will make own arrangements (Insurance) for the coverage of all risks (loss/damage) while in transit.
- Destination customs clearance delay, if any and customs cargo seizure are actions beyond the control of company, and Al Usood Cargo shall not be held liable for any such actions from the regulatory authorities.
- Consignee himself must be present on the date & time allotted by customs department for completing the cargo inspection & customs clearance procedure.
- Payment Receipts for Storage charges shall be kept until the end of storage period.
- It is the responsibility of the customer/Shipper to notify company (Al Usood Cargo) for any change in their contact details. Company will not be responsible for any failure to advice or communicate due to invalid contact details.
